In any Vodun (Voodoo) working or ceremony, Eshu always comes first. Use Eshu oil to dress red candles burned for Eshu, in an oil burner, or to feed and anoint Eshu heads, elekes, or charms. It is also good to wear for protection. It is very strong, so if you wear it on your skin, dilute it with 5 parts of a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil or olive oil.
